Beberapa Saat setelah Teman Serumah Saya Mengajak Saya untuk Makan

Kepala sakit. Pening; pusing. Berpikir.

Akhirnya memutuskan membuat makanan tergampang; Nasi goreng. Ditambah telur.

Saya mulai memasak nasi.

Saya mulai menggoreng sosis. 5 buah.

Oke, saya tidur.

Dan makannya?

Dear Mr Scott,

If I don't pick up the telephone, it means that I'm in exhibition hall, doing my last exam. Thanks.

Kegunaan Putih Telur

Haha, ga menjelaskan. As far as I know, and CMIIW, an egg comprises egg yolk, albumen, shell membrane, and egg shell. That albumen is commonly known as white egg atau putih telur. Albumen itself consists of chalazae (a smooth thin layer that conjunct egg yolk), inner thin layer, solid and thick of white egg, and outer thin layer (conjunct with egg membrane shell).

Intinya, kelebihan putih telur yang kurang terlihat selama ini adalah sifatnya yang sangat-sangat-sangat merekatkan karena ia akan tahan air apabila kering. Sekarang masalahnya adalah, bagaimana jika ada telur yang merekat di kulkas Anda? Telur itu merekat karena diyakini sempat pecah dan putih telurnya merekat di dasar kulkas. Sperti ini;

atau kalo kurang melihat putihnya bisa melihat gambar yang ini;

HOSH!

11 June 2009; A Special Day! (part III)

Well, well, well, this is the third fantastic story to me on 11 June 2009. Hahaha, to me?

It was a damn cold Thursday and I had an appointment with Mr Gordon Scott, an export Brisbane director from Brisbane marketing. This meeting is a follow-up from Brisbane student ambassador program which I applied a week ago (from that time, for sure). FYI, 2009 Brisbane student ambassador is the first batch and in its first year, the objective of the program is to increase awareness of Brisbane’s world‐class education offering. This will be achieved by communicating real‐life local experiences from international students to their families and friends at home who are considering studying overseas.

OK, going back to my story again. Having no idea at all about the building, I planned to go there earlier and started searching for building lied on 15 Adelaide street. It was 12ish when I reached the building, the time I have never expected before, because we had a 13:30 meeting. IT WAS JUST TOO EARLY.

Long story short, I waited in their lounge, sat in a luxurious sofa, read magazines, drank mineral water I brought from home while suddenly a nice elegant guy greeted me, very very nicely. Suddenly he asked, apa kabar? I was shocked (yes, shocked) and I felt like my blood stopped pumping while he continued, selamat datang di Brisbane. Glek. WHAT? Am I talking to Indonesia breed now? Or he is an Indonesian? Or soo many questions around my head. To be honest, I couldn't feel what I was feeling, whether relax or the other way around. Weird, huh?

He said that he learned bahasa when he was studying and still bit remember. Anyway, I enjoyed the interview which is mostly filled with debriefing about this program and some light questions about me, the use of on-line stuff, how I interact with that, etc. I also proved my visa which is still valid until then end of this program, at least. He joked once or twice, sometimes with bahasa and that was very enjoyable. I asked one closing question at the end of our conversation and he gave his name card just before I left his room. What a businessman, hehe.

After that, I went home catching a 412 bus, and probably there is another story I have to tell y'all regarding to this bus.

Cheers,
Zahra.

14 Hari yang Sangat Melelahkan (part III) slash 11 June 2009; A Special Day! (part II)

You must know what I'm gonna tell. This is about our gas which already 'gone' for more than 21 days. Woohoo.

That morning, I don't know why, I eagerly wanted to wash my hands. Surprisingly, I felt hot water after couples of seconds. I jumped up and down, yeah! Thanks God, finally we had hot water implying that the gas stove should have worked. Yes, there is no reason for that stove to be off. I tried to switch it on, over and over again, but still didn't work. Blah. I told my house mates about this and she tried to turn the power on. Aand, it worked!

This story could actually be predicted from the day before since that particular day, I made a phone call to AGL again. I was not intentionally complaining about problems we faced, I stopped myself doing that. Instead of it, I asked about what problem engulfing our property. That's true, ladies and gentlemen, the operator talking to me that time, seemed undergo this kind of problem and really knew what to do.

Anyway, he suspected my property which had already passed the payment term since it had been left by the previous tenants. Realizing that case, AGL therefore had right to lock our gas power. It means that no gas supply in our property. Indeed. The operator also told us that they would send their person to unlock the key and dreams came true in the following day.

That day, 11 June 2009, we could finally feel what we've missed for more than 21 days. Life has come again.
